Plastic tube & hose connectors: fittings, nozzles, screw connections and couplings

Reichelt Chemietechnik has many variations of connection options for tubes & hoses on offer. Whether they are one-piece tube connectors made from plastic and metal, or two-piece plastic tube connectors – there is an adequate solution for every application-related problem.

Depending on the model, the tube & hose connectors available from us are made from metals such as chrome-plated and nickel-plated brass or stainless steel or made from various plastics.

The RCT portfolio includes the following tube connector types:

  • Tube & hose fittings
  • Tube nozzles
  • Tube & hose screw connections
  • Pipe fittings
  • Pipe screw connections
  • Quick-release couplings
  • Luer Lock Connectors
  • Plug-in connectors

Tube & hose nozzles

In detail, the range includes tube nozzles made from HDPE, POM, PP, PVDF, PTFE and TPX. There are also variants made from brass and stainless steel as well as capillary connectors. Threaded spouts, pipe connectors, reducer connectors and bulkhead fittings round off the portfolio of these tube & hose connectors.

Tube & hose fittings

RCT offers tube & hose fittings in the materials PP, PFA, POM and PVDF. The tube fittings are offered as reduction connectors, but they are also available as screw-in fittings. A distinction is made here between tube fittings for micro and macro applications.

Tube & hose connectors for hard and soft tubes

Connections for soft tube & hose systems

Tube connectors for soft tubes are produced as screw-in connections. Bulkhead fittings are available as tube fittings as well as cross fittings, T-connectors and elbow unions.

Pipe couplings for hard tubes & hoses

Pipe connections for hard tubes are produced in the materials PP, PVDF and PTFE. They are available as straight pipe couples, screw-in connections and screw-on connections, but also as cross connectors and T-connectors.

The range of pipe fittings is suitable for pressures up to max. 6 bar. The clamping ring in the screw connection causes the tube to be locked, so that shearing and torsional effects are also avoided.

Screw connections for fabric-reinforced tubes

Tube connectors for fabric-reinforced tubes or thick-walled tube & hose systems are possible for pressure loads up to a maximum of 10 bar. They are also available as T-connectors and elbow connectors.

Conductive pipe couplings

Conductive pipe couplings, which are also referred to as antistatic, are available in the high-performance materials PVDF and PP. The conductive couplings are available as straight pipe connectors and as elbow unions made from conductive materials. The maximum working pressure for all antistatic pipe connectors is 10 bar at +20°C, where the working temperature depends on the respective plastic.

Plug-in and adhesive connectors

Pneumatic connectors are used as tube & hose connectors in measurement and control technology, but also in process control and mechanical engineering. Last but not least, they are also needed for pharmaceutical applications and in the food sector.

Adhesive connectors as well as welding connectors made from PVC-U (rigid PVC), PP and PVDF are industrial connectors which are required in industrial engineering, plant construction, process engineering, environmental engineering and water treatment.

Quick couplings

An important group is represented by quick couplings, which in many cases are available in stock in the materials POM, PP and PSU (polysulfone). This group is particularly popular in laboratory technology and chemical engineering.

For aggressive media, quick couplings made from PVDF are available in nominal widths of 5 mm and 7 mm. Quick-release couplings made from PVDF are resistant to chemicals, in particular to alkalis and acids, chlorine gas, engine oils, glycols and aromatic hydrocarbons, but also alcohol, benzene and gasoline.

You can buy tube & hose connectors from rct-online.de

A large selection of pipe connectors is available in the RCT range. A large number of the items are available in stock and can therefore be delivered just-in-time. Low prices, fair delivery costs and high quality – that's what we stand for.
