1-component and 2-component adhesives

As a specialist for adhesives, Reichelt Chemietechnik presents a wide range of high-quality 1-component adhesives and 2-component adhesives, which are used for joining two or more components and semi-finished products in different industries. Discover silicone, instant and cyanoacrylate glues as well as ceramic and various other adhesive variants featuring exceptional bonding properties for uniting a wide array of materials and components within our selection.

Ceramic adhesives

Ceramic glues are employed to bond metal or ceramic parts, even joining ceramics to metals, withstanding continuous temperatures of +1000 °C after curing. They excel for ceramic and metal components within high-temperature scenarios. They serve as glazes for shielding against corrosion and chemicals, are utilized in IC failure analysis preparation methods, unite metals and ceramics, act as bonding agents in industrial furnace construction, and fix and embed heating wires in refractory linings. A single-component adhesive cures at room temperature through adhesive evaporation (water), best applied at room temperature to facilitate natural drying. Drying duration is influenced by material porosity; in such cases, 24 hours is adequate.

Use with ceramics and porcelain

Adhesives for ceramic and metal components in the high-temperature range, glazes for protection against corrosion and chemical influences, preparation techniques for IC defect analysis - these are the areas of application for our ceramic glues. They are also used to bond metals and ceramics, serving as bonding agents in industrial furnace construction, refractory linings for securing and embedding heating wires, resistance wires, and heating wires to shield metal surfaces from oxidation processes. A One-component glue that cures at room temperature by evaporation of the adhesive (water). Drying duration hinges on the porosity of the materials, as well as the specific type of ceramic, porcelain, or metal.

Bonding technique for ceramics, stoneware and porcelain.

Please note in environments with high humidity: Depending on the degree of curing, the corresponding one-component adhesives develop a microporous structure with a volume of approx. 2 - 5 % of the total volume. The porosity depends on the type of curing cycle and whether one or more layers have been applied. The size and number of pores are determined by the evaporation temperature of the binder (water). If the water is expelled by accelerated heat treatment, more and larger pores are formed. All High-Therm glues can be cured faster by heat treatment. All properties have been significantly improved by this treatment.

Silicone adhesives

Silicone adhesives are 1-component adhesives for extremely high temperature applications up to +315°C. Even at these high temperatures, the physical properties change only very slightly. Silicone glues develop excellent bonding forces between silicone rubber and glass and silicone rubber and metal, with elongation at break of 450 %.

Tangit PVC-U Adhesive

Tangit PVC-U glue is used for bonding PVC-U pressure pipes used, for example, for drinking water treatment or gas production. It complies with KRV guidelines and DIN 16970 and is available from us in a set together with Tangit cleaner for pipe preparation.

PeViCol PVC adhesive

Glues for bonding PVC-U and -C present themselves as ideal for plastic fittings, such as fittings, pipes and hoses made of PVC, whereby the same or different types can be bonded together. The PeViCol adhesive is approved up to PN 16. It complies with DIN 16970, BS 6209 and BS 6920, and the bonded joints are largely resistant to acids.

Superglue

Superglue is also known as cyanoacrylate adhesive and is used for bonding plastic to plastic and plastic to metal to form a high-strength bond. It is a fast-curing, low-viscosity adhesive with pronounced capillary action. It has extremely low viscosity and is particularly suitable for use in the smallest gaps. The instant adhesive is suitable for plastics that are difficult to bond, such as elastomers made of APTK (ethylene-propylene-terpolymer rubber), EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene rubber) and FPM/FKM (fluororubber, Viton®).

Conductive adhesives

Electro-conductive glues are used for solderless, electrically conductive connections on sensitive components that are particularly thermally sensitive or located in hard-to-reach areas. This product has a Shore hardness D 82°.
