General Information RCT^®-TRS-GA

THOMAFLUID^®-Connection Pieces Type RCT^®-TRS-GA made of PA or PVDF with internal threads (female), external threads (male), hose nozzles and other elements for a variety of application areas, e.g. laboratory technology, chemical and biological technology, process engineering and construction technology.

Technical Specifications

The large number of design types and connection elements opens up a wide variety of possible combinations and connections. Produced in both PA and PVDF by injection moulding.

PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride)

Excellent chemical resistance combined with good mechanical and thermomechanical properties. Chemically resistant to a wide variety of aggressive media, sunlight and UV radiation.

Complies to FDA 21 CFR 177.2510 (contact with food)

Sterilizable up to +121 °C (material may discolor yellowish at higher temperatures)

Color: nature, milky white

Flammability: according to UL 94 V-0

Temperature range: -40 to +100 °C

Max. operating pressure: 10 bar at +20 °C (safety factor of 3)

Pressure reduction factor: 60 % at +60 °C; 45 % at +80 °C; 25 % at +100 °C

PA 6.6 (Polyamide 6.6)

Polyamide 6.6 offers very good mechanical strength and toughness. The fittings are suitable for a wide variety of applications, however, limitations regarding temperature range and chemical resistance must be taken into account. To be protected from direct UV radiation.

Temperature range: -40 to +80 °C

Max. operating pressure: 10 bar at +20 °C (safety factor of 3)

Pressure reduction factor: 75 % at +40 °C; 50 % at +60 °C; 25 % at +80 °C
