- EPDM/PP (e.g. Santoprene®, Norprene®, THOMAPREN) is highly abrasion-resistant, extremely flexible and ideally suited as a high-performance tubing for conveying liquids and gases. These products comply with FDA and BfR standards and are often also NSF Temperature range: -40 °C to +135 °C, Shore hardness A 68°.
- FPM/FKM (Viton®, THOMAFLUOR) offers high mechanical strength and outstanding resistance to hydrocarbons, oils, alkalis and solvents. These chemical hoses are ideal for aggressive media. Temperature range: -20 °C to +200 °C, short-term up to +250 °C, Shore hardness A 55°–75°.
- PVC (THOMAVINYL) is crystal clear, almost gas-tight and highly resistant to alcohols, saline solutions and concentrated acids. Available in metric and imperial dimensions for use as peristaltic hoses or in chemical applications. Temperature range: -20 °C to +60 °C, short-term up to +70 °C, Shore hardness A 58°–76°.
- Tygon®, as a cross-linked PVC compound, provides enhanced chemical resistance and complies with FDA, BfR and NSF These tubing are flexible, transparent and suitable for autoclaving. Temperature range: -26 °C to +74 °C, short-term up to +85 °C, Shore hardness A 66°–75°.
- Silicone (THOMASIL) is ideal for high-temperature and sensitive applications in pharmaceuticals, medical technology and laboratory environments. It remains dimensionally stable from -60 °C to +200 °C (short-term up to +350 °C) and is resistant to hot steam at +140 °C. Many variants comply with FDA and BfR requirements and are approved in accordance with the European Pharmacopoeia.
