Shrink hoses made from the plastics PTFE, FEP, PVDF and polyolefins are heat-shrinkable hoses and are considered as insulating hoses.

- Shrinkage temperature: +350°C to +500°C
- The hoses guarantee the highest abrasion resistance with simultaneous thin-walledness and semi-rigidity.
- PTFE guarantees the highest chemical resistance to inorganic and organic liquids and vapours.
FEP
- are provided for the shrinkage rate: 1.3:1
- The shrinkage temperature is considered to be the range from +204°C to +216°C
- The operating temperature, on the other hand, is -40°C to +205°C
PVDF
- The working temperature is -55°C to +175°C
- The shrinkage rate is given as +175°C.
- The shrinkage rate is 2:1
- The range of PVDF shrink hoses includes goods by the metre as well as heat-shrink hose sets, with both product specifications configured as "semi-rigid".
- The chemical resistance is similar to that of PVDF; shrink hoses are used, for example, in galvanic baths.
Polyolefin
- The offer includes shrink hose sets as well as goods by the metre. The shrinkage rate, depending on the type, is 2:1 or 3: 1 - self-extinguishing -.
- The working temperature is considered to be the range from -55°C to +135°C.
- The shrinkage temperature is +90°C for all types, whereby a longitudinal shrinkage of -15°C must be observed.
- The regulations UL 224, 125°C, 600 Volt, VW-1 apply
- The hoses are made from radiation-crosslinked polyolefin (highly flexible).
- There is a max. deformation resistance of 50%.
