Brass Quick-Release Coupling with Bend Protection
One-hand quick-release couplings/one-hand quick couplings with bend protection are characterized by special features:
- The couplings are manufactured with an absolutely clear passage, polished.
- The couplings are available in single-sided shut-off as well as double-sided shut-off options.
- The couplings are equipped with bend protection as a standard feature.
- The coupling series is fully vacuum-compatible, despite requiring minimal coupling force.
- High-quality seals are used as the sealing material.
The range of quick-release couplings for pneumatics
This includes:
- Crimp connectors with bend protection and external thread (R)
- Crimp connectors with bend protection and internal thread (G)
- Crimp connectors with bend protection and coupling (female part)
- Crimp connectors with bend protection and plug (male part)
Material definition of brass
Brass is a copper alloy, with approximately 36% copper content. In comparison, it should be noted that brass is harder than copper, but not as hard as bronze. Brass is considered a high-temperature resistant material and is therefore valued in high-temperature technology, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and process engineering. Due to its chemical resistance, brass has a wide range of applications and is of interest for both the chemical industry and chemical process engineering.
The resistance of brass applies to the following media:
- Benzene, diesel oil, acetic acid up to 10%, refrigerants, gear oil, heating oil, hydraulic fluids, kerosene, cooling water, methanol, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, nitric acid (33%), sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, and also xylene.
- Furthermore, brass is resistant to steam and hot air.
Further product features
