Pump hoses made of PVC-P (polyvinyl chloride, soft) form part of our range. They are non-toxic, pyrogen-free and compatible with blood (blood-compatible). Furthermore, these medical hoses are thermosensitive and immediately adapt to body temperature without lumen reduction. The Shore hardness A is 58° according to DIN 53505. The recommended operating temperature range is between –30 °C and +60 °C. These pump hoses are furthermore FDA and BfR compliant.

Silicone Hoses
The group of medical hoses also includes hoses made of silicone (THOMASIL), which are compliant with FDA, BfR and USP, and likewise meet the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia for use in medical technology. Silicone hoses are tensile-resistant, tear-resistant and durable. They are completely tasteless, odourless and physiologically harmless and are also absolutely compatible with the human body. The Shore hardness A can be specified, depending on type, as 50° to 60° according to DIN 53505. Temperature resistance is ensured at operating temperatures in the range of -55 °C to +220 °C, whereby temperatures up to +250 °C can be applied for short periods.
Micro Spaghetti Hoses
The micro spaghetti medical hose made of silicone was specifically designed for use in analytical technology, where maximum precision is required with minimal hose diameters. Featuring a Shore hardness A of 62° according to DIN 53505, this fine medical hose offers particularly high elasticity and dimensional stability – even during permanent contact with aggressive media. Its chemical resistance is exceptional: the micro spaghetti hose is extremely resistant to acids and alkaline solutions. This tubing is therefore ideally suited for sensitive analytical processes in which reliability and material purity are decisive.
Pharma Pressure Hoses
Silicone pharma pressure hoses with glass silk fabric reinforcement have a Shore hardness A of 70° according to DIN 53505 and, depending on hose dimension, are suitable for pressure ranges from 7.5 bar to 20 bar at +20 °C.
Pharma Colour Code Chemical Hoses
Pharma colour code silicone hoses are special chemical hoses and also comply with the guidelines for use in medical technology. These hoses are offered in the colours yellow, blue, black, white, violet, orange, red and green. They are characterised by particular heat and high-temperature resistance as well as excellent cold resistance and are autoclavable at +136 °C. Hot air sterilisation is possible at +200 °C.

Silicone pump hoses are made of particularly high-quality extruded and vulcanised silicone elastomer and have a Shore hardness A of 55° according to DIN 53505. Pump hoses with stoppers are available in two versions – with 2 and 3 stoppers – and are offered with inner diameters from 0.64 mm to 3 mm, whereby the total length of the hose sections is 406 mm and the stopper distance is approx. 152 mm.
Platinum-Cured Hoses
Another important product type in the field of medical hoses is the platinum-cured silicone hose. This hose variant is characterised by particularly high thermal resilience and excellent material properties. The platinum-cured hoses are available in inch sizes and can be used permanently in a temperature range from -51 °C to +232 °C – even under long-term stress they retain their elasticity and dimensional stability. Due to their physiological harmlessness and thermal resistance, platinum-cured tubing is particularly suitable for sensitive applications in medical technology, for example for media transfer in sterile environments or in device construction.
TYGON® Hoses
Medical hoses also include TYGON® hoses, which are cross-linked and exhibit particularly high chemical resistance, especially against acids and alkalis. These are special hoses for surgery and medical technology as well as for use in heart-lung machines. The crystal-clear and absolutely flexible hoses ensure a long service life with high material density, which at the same time guarantees high gas tightness and extremely low permeability. The Shore hardness A is 65° according to DIN 53505, with a temperature range of -10 °C to +74 °C.
TYGON® Pump Hoses
TYGON® pump hoses with 2 stoppers are autoclavable at +121 °C and are supplied with riders with a distance of 152 mm, whereby the hose length is 406 mm. The operating temperature of these medical hoses is specified as -45 °C to +65 °C, whereby short-term temperatures up to +85 °C are also permitted. The hoses are crystal-clear, allowing the media flow to be easily observed.
Micro Analytical Hoses
TYGON® micro analytical hoses also belong to the group of medical hoses, available with inner diameters from 0.25 mm to 1.27 mm. The hoses are equipped with a Shore hardness A of 80° according to DIN 53505. This hose type offers a long service life, as it neither ages nor oxidises. The use of this special tubing is particularly recommended in surgery and medical technology.
