Flexible Hoses for Demanding Applications – From Corrugated Tubes to Spiral Hoses
Corrugated hoses are highly flexible hoses used in a wide range of applications. As a specialist in fluid technology, RCT offers an extensive selection of these hoses, also known as corrugated tubes or conduit hoses. They are used as milk hoses, food-grade hoses, wine hoses, pharmaceutical hoses, ventilation ducts, and for transporting critical media and gases – some also available in antistatic versions.
Our Product Portfolio
RCT provides a comprehensive selection of flexible hoses, spiral hoses, plastic tubing, and corrugated conduits. Our product range includes the following types:
- PVC corrugated hoses for milk and food products are flexible hoses that can be used for both suction and pressure applications. They offer a vacuum resistance of 70% at +20 °C and are suitable for operating temperatures from –10 °C to +60 °C. Available with inner diameters from 30 mm to 50 mm.
- PVC corrugated hoses for wine and food applications combine flexibility with robust vacuum performance (98% at +20 °C) and can also handle temperatures from –10 °C to +60 °C.
- PVC-U conduits are rigid yet flexible plastic tubes made from durable unplasticized PVC. Designed to protect cables and piping systems, they are widely used in mechanical engineering, chemical processing, electronics, and equipment manufacturing. These hoses are suitable for temperatures between 0 °C and +60 °C and comply with DIN 53444 standards.
- MFA corrugated tubes are ultra-flexible spiral hoses designed for extreme temperatures from –200 °C to +240 °C. They meet UL 94 V0 flame resistance standards and exhibit outstanding chemical resistance to both inorganic and organic substances. MFA also delivers excellent mechanical durability, impact resistance, and aging stability.
- PA corrugated tubes are versatile plastic conduits suitable for transporting fluids, protecting hose assemblies, and extracting gases. Designed for operating temperatures from –40 °C to +120 °C, they comply with UL 94 HB and provide IP 68-rated protection.
- LDPE corrugated tubes are lightweight, flexible hoses ideal for gas extraction, fluid transport, and cable protection. Commonly used in climate control, electronics, system engineering, medical and chemical technology. With an operating range of –40 °C to +70 °C, IP 68 protection, and UL 94 HB classification, they**'re** a reliable choice – especially for sensitive environments due to their odorless, tasteless, biocompatible, and physiologically safe material properties.
- PFA corrugated hoses with smooth ends are translucent to clear spiral tubes designed for demanding environments such as laboratories, biotechnology, and biochemical processing. Their temperature resistance from –270 °C to +260 °C makes them reliable high-temperature hoses for extreme applications.
- PFA-Antistatic corrugated hoses are designed for use in explosive atmospheres. These black**-coloured** tubes are ideal for transferring liquids and gases, including alcohols and solvents. They operate within –270 °C to +260 °C and deliver outstanding antistatic properties in demanding conditions.
- PP corrugated hoses are engineered for dynamic protection of cables and wires in mobile or vibrating machinery. These hoses perform reliably between –40 °C and +100 °C and meet DIN 53446, IP 68, and UL 94 HB standards.
- PTFE corrugated hoses with straight ends are intended for advanced sectors like biotechnology, medical technology, microelectronics, and analytical instrumentation. They combine excellent chemical resistance with a wide operating range from –70 °C up to +360 °C, tolerating even brief exposure to +280 °C.
- PTFE-Antistatic hoses are filled with 25% carbon powder to ensure high conductivity (<10⁶ Ohm) and antistatic performance. With Shore D hardness of 65° and a black finish, they are well-suited for industrial applications in potentially explosive areas.
- PVDF corrugated hoses offer durable protection for wires and tubes in mechanical and chemical engineering, equipment manufacturing, electronics, and even semiconductor and environmental technologies. They operate between –60 °C and +150 °C and meet DIN 53446, IP 68, and UL 94 V-0 specifications.
- PFA hoses are ideal as flexible connections for moving parts and assemblies. They are shape-retaining and temperature-resistant from –200 °C to +250 °C, making them high-performance hoses for extreme applications.
- FEP corrugated hoses with smooth ends are used in cable management, cleanroom environments, nuclear technology, biotechnology, and genetic engineering. Withstanding temperatures from –260 °C to +200 °C, they are especially well suited for transporting gases and vapours in biochemical and technical processes.
