CA
CA plastic sheets are highly UV-resistant. They prove themselves in their resistance to fats, oils, halogens and aromatic hydrocarbons.
ECTFE
ECTFE plastic sheets are characterised by high UV resistance. They are resistant to alcohols, hydrocarbons, fats, oils and alkalis as well as acids. Our products are offered in material thickness 0.02 mm as a super-thin foil.
FEP
FEP is UV-resistant and ideally suited for heat sealing. This material has a remarkably high mechanical strength in both the low-temperature range and the high-temperature range.
PA 6
PA 6 polyamide plastic sheets are resistant to hydrocarbons, halogens, fats, ketones, oils, acids and UV radiation.
PC
PC foils are resistant to acids, oils and fats, alcohols as well as aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones, alkalis and concentrated acids. On top of PC standard foils, RCT also offers metallised and graphite-filled variants.
PEEK
PEEK high-performance sheets are UV-resistant and chemically resistant to alcohols, aromatic hydrocarbons, halogens, ketones, fats, acids and alkalis.
PES
PES high-performance foils are resistant to alcohols, fats and oils, acids and alkalis.
PETP
PETP high-performance sheets are developed for temperature ranges from -20°C to +100°C, and in the short term a load up to +140°C is also possible. PETP foils are absolutely wear-resistant, UV-resistant and weather-resistant and have excellent mechanical strength, which is also expressed in their high stiffness and foil hardness. The plastic foils are self-extinguishing and prove themselves through a high wear resistance.
PI
PI foils are high-temperature foils with the best resistance to beta and gamma radiation. These semi-finished products are resistant to aromatic hydrocarbons, concentrated acids, ketones, fats, oils and halogens
PP
PP plastic sheets are highly resistant to alcohols and ketones, concentrated acids and alkalis.
PTFE
PTFE high-performance foils are ideally suited for working temperatures from -200°C to +260°C. They are resistant to hydrocarbons, ketones, alkalis and acids, alcohols, halogens, fats and oils.
Furthermore, PTFE foils etched on one side and square, as well as models etched on one side and self-adhesive, are also available. You can also buy high-performance food-grade PTFE foils. These versions are FDA- and BfR-compliant and therefore comply with the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia.
PVDF
PVDF sheets are resistant to alcohols, fats, halogens and oils, alkalis and acids. The foils are Al-metallised on both sides and are therefore piezoelectric.
Silicone
Thermo-silicone foils are available with a thermal conductivity of 1.4 W/mK and 2.5 W/mK. The silicone foils comply with fire class UL 94 V-0. The fields of application are thermal sensors, high-performance diodes SMD power modules and electrolytic capacitors.
Glass fabric foils
Glass fabric foils with PTFE coating have excellent electrical insulation properties. They are resistant to chemicals and to all inorganic and organic media.
Silicone-coated glass fabric foils are also available. They are used in transformer construction, as an insulating foil, in chemical engineering, laboratory technology and electrical engineering. But they are also used in mechanical engineering as standard foils for machine technology. These semi-finished products are slightly stretchable in the diagonal, but flexible in the direction of length. This ensures a versatile range of applications.
Metal foils
A special range is represented by metal foils, micro-thin, which are also sold as precision foils. These include foils made of aluminium, stainless steel, copper and zinc, which have their place in semiconductor technology.
Aluminium
Aluminium foils are absolutely gas- and water-vapor-tight. They have no restoring force and therefore adapt to any shape.
Another type is semi-hard aluminium foil. This is pure aluminium with an aluminium content of 99%. RCT also presents calibrated aluminium foils with a tolerance of +/-30%.
Stainless steel
Stainless steel foils, which belong to the group of metal foils, are made of stainless steel 1.4301.
Graphite
Graphite foils are made of the purest carbon. The C content is 99.95%.
Highly thermally conductive graphite foils are also offered, which are used for CPU modules, power modules, power units in motor control as well as in telecommunication modules. These models are soft, flexible and have the highest temperature resistance, where the material purity can be specified as >98%.
Copper
Copper foils guarantee a copper content of 99.9%. They are available in the material type "tempered" or "semi-hard".
RCT offers calibrated copper foils as a special batch. In this case, the copper content is also 99.9% and therefore represents high-purity copper.
Zinc
Precision foils made of ultrapure zinc are milled and guarantee a zinc content of 99.9%.
