Straight-Tri-Clamp Connector with female luerlock made of PP, PVDF or PFA
General Information
In applications requiring absolute cleanliness and reliability, such as in the pharmaceutical industry, our sterilisable Tri-Clamp threaded connectors are essential. The Tri-Clamp connector can be combined on the other side with a Series EMP-3 threaded connector for tubes, a Series EMP-4 threaded connector for pipes or a male thread. Hence, these are versatile threaded connectors that can also be mounted to any existing fittings with Tri-Clamp connectors. The Tri-Clamp threaded connector is easy to use. Simply press the two flange-like connector pieces against each other and fasten them together using the stainless steel locking clip. A sealing ring is situated between the connector pieces to maintain a proper seal. The resulting connection is form-fit and smooth and a wing nut on the locking clip makes it easy to quickly open and close the connection at any time.
Size, diameter and clip in accordance with DIN 32676, ISO 2852, BS 4825
Gaskets and retainer clips are to be ordered together with selected Tri-Clamps.

PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride)
High-quality technical plastic for chemical apparatus and machine building, especially in the petrochemical, metallurgical, pharmaceutical, food processing, paper and textile industry as well as in the nuclear technology.
High impact toughness even at low temperatures
Good breakdown strength
Low dielectric loss factor
Highest mechanical stability and stiffness
Meeting highest purity requirements
Comply with the guidelines from FDA and USP class VI, additionally PVDF has the KTW approval. Up to +150 °C it is non-toxic and since it has a similar property to glass it is a no-culture medium for microorganisms.
Can be treated by autoclave (absolute sterile) and sterilized with gamma-rays without losing its mechanical qualities
Outstanding resistance to UV, weather and aging
Flame-resistant
High thermal stability

PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)
Heavy-duty plastic
Antiadhesive surface
Outstanding sliding properties
Lowest friction coefficient of all fluorinated plastics
Excellent stress cracking resistance
Excellent weather resistance
Highest gas-tightness
No water absorption
