Granules and Sorbents for Analytical Techniques
As an experienced laboratory equipment supplier, Reichelt Chemietechnik also dedicates itself to filtration technology. In this context, we present a comprehensive program of granules and sorbents. These serve to adsorb gases or water. Explore the extensive selection in the online shop of RCT and contact us if needed.
Activated Carbon Granules
Charcoal is a natural filter that filtered water in rock layers millions of years ago. Activated carbon filters are found today not only in air washers or vacuum cleaners but are also used in chemical technology. Our range includes activated carbon granule sorbents, which facilitate the easy separation of gases through adsorption on the activated carbon pores. This consists of activated carbon on a bitumen basis with sulfur impregnation. The very high proportion of small pores ensures the maximum specific surface area. The maximum temperature load is +70 °C.
Molecular Sieves
Molecular sieves are produced in two versions, one with a pore size of 4 Å and another with a pore size of 10 Å.
The 4 Å molecular sieves are used for drying air, inert gases, hydrogen, and media such as gasoline, kerosene, hexane, ethanol, isopropanol, etc. Here, water, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen sulfide are separated. Molecular sieves with 10 Å are used to remove water and carbon dioxide from air, nitrogen, oxygen, and other inert gases.
Blue Gel Granules
The blue gel granulate guarantees an extremely high water absorption capacity. It has excellent adsorption properties due to the high porosity of poly silica gel. Its main application is the drying of gases, nitrogen, natural gases, etc.
Potassium Permanganate Sorbent
Potassium permanganate sorbent proves itself with a very high oxidation potential with the ability to oxidize a large number of compounds. It serves as an oxidizing agent for the fine cleaning of inert gases.
