Viton® plates/Viton plates belong to the group of fluoroelastomers which are characterized by highest thermal resistance up to +200 °C. The FPM plates/FKM plates have an excellent chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, oils and gasoline.

Viton plates are sulfur-free, highly flame-retardant, weather- and ozone-resistant. The average Shore hardness of the Viton plates is A75°. Defined material compounds allow Viton® plates to be FDA- or BfR-compliant. The product portfolio offered by Reichelt Chemietechnik also includes plates with this specification.FDA-compliant Viton plates are used in the pharmaceutical, medical and food engineering. Technical fluororubber compounds are used in the chemical and process technology, as well as in the machine market.
