The Shore hardness D of these versions is 82° according to DIN 53505, and the operating temperature ranges from +5 °C to +90 °C. The permissible working pressure is 10 bar at +20 °C. PP hose couplings with internal threads are absolutely resistant to alcohols, ketones, concentrated acids, and alkalis.
The program includes straight and angled hose barbs, straight and angled connectors, and T-connectors made of PP. Additionally, angled and straight hose barbs are also available in a macro version.
Internal Thread Hose Connectors made of PVDF
PVDF hose connectors with internal threads as screw fittings are approved according to FDA, USP Class VI, and KTW regulations. They are resistant to oils, fats, alcohols, halogens, acids, and alkalis. Their Shore hardness D is 79° according to DIN 53505, and their operating temperature ranges from -40 °C to +140 °C. The maximum operating pressure is 10 bar at +20 °C.
Straight hose barbs and connectors as well as elbow and T-couplings with internal threads can be provided in PVDF.
PFA Connectors with Internal Thread
PFA hose connectors with internal threads are hose connectors approved according to FDA and USP Class VI. They also comply with the European Pharmacopoeia regulations. Their operating temperature ranges from -200 °C to +200 °C, with a Shore hardness D of 60° to 65° according to DIN 53505. The maximum operating pressure is 10 bar at +20 °C. PFA screw fittings are resistant to alkalis, acids, and organic solvents, but not resistant to concentrated sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and aqua regia.
