Porous Plastics: Sintered Plates, Sintered Rods, Sintered Pipes, Sintered Discs made of LDPE, HDPE, UHMWPE, PTFE

Sintered materials made of PTFE, UHMWPE, HDPE and LDPE are used both in laboratory technology and in process and chemical engineering for the filtration of liquids and gases. The sintered plates, sintered rods, sintered pipes and sintered discs are manufactured by technologically fusing together granules from the materials PTFE, HDPE, LDPE, UHMWPE, so that sturdy bodies of various shapes are produced. Sintered elements made of PTFE allow highest temperature loads up to +240 °C while at the same time having nearly absolute chemical resistance and are preferably used in the process chemistry and chemical process engineering. Moreover, they are used in biochemical research, e.g. in the fluid chromatography for chromatography fittings, as well as in the entire Life Science sector. Please do not hesitate to contact us at +49 (0) 6221-31250. We will be pleased to advise you.

Note regarding the term „Teflon® Sintered Plate“

The word mark Teflon® is a registered trade name owned by the company DuPont for the material PTFE. Therefore, only those companies which can show that they exclusively use the original Teflon® granulate materials of DuPont for the manufacture of semi-finished products such as tubings, plates, rods, foils etc. are allowed to use the trademark Teflon® to advertise their products. We do not use the term "Teflon" for our sintered plates, rods and pipes made of PTFE. Reichelt Chemietechnik occupies the similar fluoroplastic group and thus filtration devices made of PTFE with the word mark THOMAFLON.
