Filter housings, cartridges, and other filter elements and modules
On rct-online.de, you will find numerous filter housings made of plastic, cartridges, modules, and filters for various applications. In laboratory and process filtration, we provide the perfect solution for every challenge, including holders, and membrane filters, and most notably, filterhousings and cartridges.
Types of filtration components
Our filter cartridges are used in various fields and enable different processes.
Sinter Filtration
We offer filter cartridges made from different materials such as PTFE, PVDF, UHMW-PE as porous plastics for sinter filtration. Sintered cartridges and sinter filters made from HDPE, UHMW-PE, and glass fibers are used in microelectronics, laboratory and analysis technology as fine filter cartridges. They are also suitable for gas filtration and particle removal. The maximum temperature resistance for these products is +80 °C. Different sizes are available, including mini filter cartridges and larger versions.
Wound Elements / Wound Filters / Filter Cartridges
These products made from cotton, viscose, or PP are also available. They are required for depth filtration in pharmaceutical and process technology. Wound elements and wound filters are also used in utility water treatment, drinking water treatment, and mineral water production.
Activated Carbon Filters / Adsorption Filters
Reichelt Chemietechnik offers a wide range of activated carbon filtration products. Specifically, activated carbon filters as adsorption filters, activated carbon filters for electroplating, activated carbon filters for water treatment, and activated carbon filters for dehalogenation. They are used to remove odors and flavors from gases, vapors, and liquids. Your ordered item will be delivered in packaging that ensures safe transport.
Fiber Fleece Elements
Fiber fleece elements or filter elements with fiber fleece are located in the pharmaceutical and food industry. For technical applications in chemical and process engineering, Reichelt Chemietechnik also provides filter elements and filter cartridges with fiber fleece. They are used for temperature ranges up to +120 °C and even up to +150 °C for short periods. They are known for their excellent pressure stability and high dirt-holding capacity.
PTFE Filter Cartridges / THOMAFLON
Noteworthy are the filter cartridges and filter systems made from PTFE / THOMAFLON, as well as from PVDF / Kynar ® / Solef ® for gas and liquid filtration in laboratory and industry for pharmaceutical and medical applications.
Overview of PTFE Filters
- PTFE filter cartridges are made from sintered PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)
- Filter cup (filter sum) made of borosilicate glass Available in filter lengths of 60 mm and 125 mm Maximum operating temperature +100 °C Resistant to all organic and inorganic media
- PVDF Filters / Solef® / Kynar® A chemically inert and biocompatible filter system for aggressive gaseous and liquid media of all kinds
- Filter cup made of borosilicate glass Filter head made of PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride)
- Filter cartridge made of sintered PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) Maximum operating temperature is +80 °C at 4 bar
Matching Filter Housings
Matching plastic housings are offered for all elements, with the size of these housings depending on the filter cartridge and performance requirements (flow rate). The offered housings are made from SAN (styrene-acrylonitrile), PP (polypropylene), PA 6 (polyamide 6). The selection of materials ensures a wide range of applications for inorganic and organic media.
These housings are available for the entire range of filter cartridges. PA (polyamide) filter housings for operating pressures up to 20 bar at +20 °C are available, as are SAN and PP filter housings for wound filters and filter cartridges with lengths of 125 mm, 254 mm, and 508 mm.
PP or SAN Filter Housings
PP and SAN filter housings are made of solid plastic. In the case of PP housings, the filter head and filter cup are made of reinforced polypropylene, with the material being FDA-compliant. The SAN housing differs in terms of the filter cup, which is made of clear polyacrylonitrile (SAN). The embedded O-ring in the filter cup ensures a secure seal! Three different versions are available for filter cartridges with lengths of 125 mm, 254 mm, and 508 mm. The filter housings are equipped with an NPT female thread, either 3/8" or 3/4" depending on the type. SAN housings are slightly different: Only filter cartridges with a length of 254 mm are suitable, and a thread connection with NPT 3/8" (internal) is possible. The filter head of SAN filter housings is equipped with a vent valve, which is of utmost importance for continuous production processes.
Stainless Steel Filter Housings
The stainless steel filter housing offered by Reichelt Chemietechnik is used for the continuous filtration of gases and liquids in operation, in the laboratory, and in production at higher temperatures and pressures. The maximum operating temperature is +140 °C with FPM (Viton®) seals, or +280 °C with FFKM (Kalrez®) seals. The maximum operating pressure is 160 bar in both cases. All parts in contact with the medium are made of stainless steel 1.4571. This includes the filter head, filter bell (filter sum & filter cup), and the filter cartridge. The connection is G 1/4". The same applies to the bypass connection.
