Semi-finished products are prefabricated solid forms which are adapted in a further production step. These prefabricated products can be supplied both from elastomers and plastics, glass silk and ceramics, as well as from metal. In most cases, one characteristic (e.g. the diameter) of the semi-finished product already corresponds to the final product. In the further production process, the other properties (e.g. length and width) of the semi-finished products are then adapted. Semi-finished products are elastomers and plastics of the highest quality, which are permanently subjected to quality control and hence to quality assurance.
Foils
As a specialist in semi-finished products, Reichelt Chemietechnik offers plastic foils and rubber foils among others made of CA (cellulose acetate), ECTFE, KEL-F® FEP foils/Hostaflon and PA 46 or polyamide.
The range also includes glass fabric films, PTFE- or silicone-coated as well as glass fabric and glass fibre fabric.
Metal foils (micro-thin) as aluminium, stainless steel, iron and graphite foils round off the range of semi-finished foils.
Sheets
Plastic sheets are also part of our range of semi-finished products. These include variants, among others made of HDPE/high pressure polyethylene, PA (polyamide), PC/Makrolon®, PCTFE, PE (polyethylene) and PEEK (polyether-ether ketone).
Other semi-finished products made of rubber, foam rubber, cellular rubber
In addition, there are rubber foils and rubber sheets made of many different materials.
The standard range also includes foam rubber sheets as well as foam semi-finished products produced with PE, PEUR and silicone/silicone rubber.
Cellular rubber semi-finished products made of CR, CR/EPDM, EPDM, NBR as well as PUR are important components of RCT's range.
Metal sheets, micro-thin, as aluminum plates, stainless steel plates, copper plates, brass plates as well as screen plates made of stainless steel/perforated sheets produced with stainless steel are also semi-finished products which are a fixed part of the range.

The range also includes semi-finished products such as bars, solid rods and solid bars, based for example on PCTFE or PEEK (polyether ether ketone).
Profiles and Keder profiles made of CR and EPDM as well as elbow profiles made of CR and rectangular profiles made of CR, FPM, NBR and NR as well as silicon and TPE are also among the semi-finished products in the range. Semi-finished products also include U-profiles made of CR and EPDM. The same applies to foam rubber profiles made of CR and EPDM as well as to foam rubber rectangular profiles produced with EPDM, FPM/FKM and silicone.
Plastic profiles, like L-profiles made of glass-fibre-reinforced plastic (GRP) as well as rectangular profiles produced with glass-fibre-reinforced plastic (GRP), but also U-profiles produced with glass-fibre-reinforced plastic (GRP) are semi-finished products as well as U-profiles made of PVC-U and L-profiles made of PVC-U.
