Chemical features:
Resistant to alkohols, weak and strong alkalis, organic and weak mineral acids
Only limited resistance to weather and UV radiation, therefore less suitable for outdoor applications
Material specification:
Extremely impact resistant, thus well suited for shockproof components
Not notch-sensitive
Well suited for use at low temperatures
This styrene butadiene is distinguished from conventional polystyrene by: higher impact and notch impact strength, better stress cracking resistance, lower stiffness and hardness, less resistant to aging than normal polystyrene
