General Information

Use for Filtration of gases and fluids and as gas feeding and distribution system (gassing).

THOMAPOR®-PTFE sintered elements are used for filtration of highly aggressive vapors, gases and fluids at highest temperatures up to +240 °C. The elements are easy to clean after the filtration process even when used with sticky media.

THOMAPOR®-PTFE sintered elements do not soil when dipped into water containing suspended matter as neither water nor electrolytes are able to enter into the pores. Nevertheless, the gas flow rate is high and of constant intensity.

Porous sintered plastic made of pure high-density PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). Through an exactly defined and controlled sintering process PTFE granules are fused together so that stable bodies of various shapes form. By granular material selection and choice of process parameters the pore size of the porous THOMAPOR®-sintered elements can be selectively influenced.

Usable in temperature ranges from -200 to +260 °C
