Product specification

Process filter systems and the storage bottles belonging to them are made of polystyrene (PS).

In the disposable filter unit a cellulose membrane with a pore size of 0.22 µm is welded in, ensuring avoidance of leakage. Simultaneously, sterility of the receiver (storage bottle) is maintained.

The used filter material stands out for very low protein binding, causing minimal adsorption loss.

Each membrane is tested for compatibility with cell cultures by use of human lamellar cells.

Both filter unit and receiver (storage bottle) are graduated. A wide mouth allows easy handling.

A sterile-packaged, leakproof screw-on cap is added to each storage bottle.

A tubing adapter matching all commonly used vacuum tubing is attached to each filter unit.

Each process filter system with storage bottle is radiation-sterilized (gamma-radiation).
