General Information

Very good choice for applications involving mechanical load, as well as in mineral oils, fats and waxes, motor oils and fuels

Well suited for use in CIP / SIP media for continuous plants in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries

CIP (Cleaning in Place) = diluted acids or bases combined with cleaning additives

SIP (Sterilization in Place) = disinfectants, steam, oxidizing media (e.g. hypochlorite) and / or polar organic solvents (e.g. acetic acid)

Should not be used in concentrated acids (e.g. nitric or formic acid), concentrated oxidizing media (e.g. peracetic acid), aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons

Good abrasion resistance

Good thermal resistance

The level of ACN is tailored to the specific application, so that the optimal balance of chemical resistance and low-temperature flexibility is achieved

Good resistance to mineral oil and fuels, outstanding resistance to vegetable and animal oils, silicones, diluted acids and bases at room temperature

In aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons NBR is prone to swelling

Temperature range: -20 to +100 °C
