Turbine Flow Meters with Digital Display
Turbine flow meters are ideal for measuring ranges from 0.1 to 35 l/min at a viscosity of 15 cSt and a maximum of 25 bar at +20 °C. With an integrated digital display, they are used in pilot plants as well as in analytical and laboratory technology for measuring water and other media. Turbine flow meters made of PA 12 (polyamide 12) offer the following properties:
- Digital display of the instantaneous value and of the total volume of liquid that has passed through.
- An integrated Hall sensor senses the operation of the rotor and generates a frequency signal that reflects the flow rate; this signal is then converted, evaluated and shown digitally.
- The flow measuring range spans 0.1 to 35 l/min.
- The operating temperature may lie within the range of -20 °C to +100 °C.
- The turbine flow meters with digital display are designed for maximum working pressures of 25 bar.
- The devices can be used with media that have a viscosity of approximately 15 cSt.
- The connection thread is G 3/8″ or G 1/4″.
- All digital turbine flow meters are KTW-approved.

Chemical Resistance and Material Properties of Polyamide 12
- PA 12 is resistant to lubricants and petrol, aliphatic hydrocarbons, greases and oils, ketones and alcohols, as well as to cyclic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated solvents, hot steam, UV radiation and X-ray radiation.
- Good mechanical strength and impact resistance characterise the plastic used in the measuring unit and in every turbine, combined with remarkable wear resistance, which is why it is also used for slide plates and sprockets in production, as well as for thermal and electrical insulation.
