Tubing made of FEP/PVC * Newsletter 2011-10

Composite Tubing made of FEP/PVC for Chemical Process Engineering and Pharmaceutical Production

The new tubing composite technology is used in laboratories, pilot and industrial plants, as well as pharmaceutical engineering, industrial technology, process and chemical technology.

Reichelt Chemietechnik presents its THOMAFLUID® FEP/PVC composite tubing as a future-oriented product that meets all criteria of modern fluid technology.

The liner is made of crystal-clear FEP (fluorinated ethylene-propylene), the jacket, however, is made of cross-linked PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and is transparent as well. The tubing is highly flexible ensuring smallest bending radii without kinks. The FEP liner guarantees highest resistance to all kinds of anorganic and organic media and is free of extractable constituents.

The THOMAFLUID® composite tubing made of FEP/PVC is physiologically absolutely safe and completely odourless and tasteless. It meets the requirements of the FDA and USP Class IV.
