The trademark Santoprene® is the product specification EPDM/PP in a modified form.
EPDM/PP is a material of the "New Generation" in laboratory and operating technology, particularly in the areas of pharmacy, chemistry, medicine and biology in fermenters and tanks building.
The sheets are made of a recyclable thermoplastic elastomer that offers a lot of possible applications, especially in the food industry.
The material is resistant to ozone, aging and UV-radiation, and is easily to weld by heating for ex. to make round sleeves. Its low gas and vapor permeability is remarkable; operating temperature range from -40 to +135 °C, for a short time +150 °C. Due to this product characteristic the material is best suited for use in mechanical engineering, containers and tanks building.
