Product specification

Biologically degradable wash solution concentrate for ultrapurification of dialysis membranes for critical work in areas of biochemistry. The wash solution concentrate is based on chelating agents for conversion of traces of heavy metals (among others Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mg, Ni, Pb, Zn) into readily soluble complexes to be washed out with water. Plastic bottle containing approx. 225 ml wash solution concentrate for more than 2 litres wash solution, for use according to handling instructions.

For removal of heavy metal one part by volume of wash solution concentrate is diluted with 9 parts by volume of distilled water. The membranes are kept for about 5 minutes at room temperature in the diluted wash solution. Then the formed heavy-metal complexes are washed out with a sufficient amount of ultrapure water.
