Mini-plastic hose barbs: PA 6.6, PP, PVDF for microtubing

Mini-plastic hose barbs are available in the following materials:

  • PA 6.6 (Nylon)
  • PP (Polypropylene)
  • PVDF (Solef/Kynar)

Sizes of the hose barbs

Hose barbs are manufactured for microtubing/rubber tubing with inner diameters of 1.6 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.2 mm, and 4 mm. The range of mini-hose connectors includes:

  • Straight hose connectors
  • Elbow hose connectors
  • Y-shaped hose connectors
  • Cross hose connectors
  • Reducer hose connectors

Chemical resistance for the materials:

PVDF (Solef/Kynar):

PVDF is resistant to gasoline, aliphatic hydrocarbons, halogenated solvents, as well as ammonia solutions and aliphatic amines, and also to mineral acids, organic acids, hydrogen peroxide, and UV rays.

PP (Polypropylene):

PP is resistant to: lubricants, gasoline, aliphatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, organic acids, mineral acids, as well as hydrogen peroxide, alkalis, ammonia, and amines.

PA 6.6 (Nylon):

PA 6.6 is resistant to lubricants, oils, gasoline, aliphatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons, as well as trichloroethylene and perchloroethylene. Temperature resistance of hose connectors PVDF (Solef®, Kynar®): -40 °C to +150 °C, short-term up to +165 °C PP (Polypropylene): -40 °C to +120 °C, short-term up to +145 °C PA 6.6 (Nylon): -40 °C to +115 °C
