Plastics used for Luer-lock connectors have the following resistances depending on the plastic:

Connectors made of PA 6.6 (Polyamide 6.6/Nylon):

PA 6.6 is absolutely resistant to lubricants, oils, gasoline, aliphatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, cyclic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, as well as to trichloropentane and perchloroethylene. PA 6.6 is conditionally resistant to weak organic acids and UV radiation.

Adapters made of PP (Polypropylene/Hostalen® PP):

PP is absolutely resistant to lubricants, gasoline, aliphatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, as well as to organic acids and mineral acids, hydrogen peroxide, alkaline solutions, ammonia, and amines.

Adapters made of PC (Polycarbonate/Makrolon®):

Makrolon exhibits excellent chemical properties against ethylene oxide, formaldehyde, and hot water. PC is conditionally resistant to methanol and ethanol (96%), higher alcohols, aldehydes, diluted mineral acids, and UV radiation.

PA 6.6 (Polyamide 6.6): Temperature resistance: -40 °C to +100 °C, short-term +200 °C.
