PTFE Membrane Filters / PTFE Filter Membranes / PVDF Membrane Filters / / PVDF Filter Membranes
Both membrane types are used in biochemical analysis, especially in fluid chromatography, in laboratory technology and in process and chemical engineering for filtration of liquids and gases. The membranes act as "depth filters", with high cleaning efficiency and without filter clogging. They are used for the filtration of corrosive and other aggressive chemicals (solvents) or gases. The membranes may be sterilized with steam or bactericidal solutions and feature broad range of solvent resistance depending on the material. They are inherently hydrophobic, which makes them ideal as venting devices. The PTFE membranes can withstand temperatures well over +200 °C. Should you have any procedural questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at +49 (0) 6221-31250 or by e-mail info@rct-online.de. Our technical staff will be pleased to provide you with additional assistance. We keep all membrane types in stock. It is possible to order in small quantities without minimum order surcharge.

Note regarding the term „Teflon Membrane“:

The word mark Teflon® is a registered trade name owned by the company DuPont for the material polytetrafluoroethylene. Therefore, only those companies which can show that they exclusively use the original Teflon® granulate materials of DuPont for the manufacture of semi-finished products such as tubings, plates, rods, foils etc. are allowed to use the trademark Teflon® to advertise their products. We do not use the term "Teflon Membrane" for our PTFE membrane filters. Reichelt Chemietechnik uses the word mark THOMAFLON for the fluoroplastic group PTFE.
