The new FDA-compliant TPE microcellular rubber round cord can also be used as a seal in areas coming into contact with food or pharmaceutical products. Therefore it is often used as sealant for containers.
It has all the advantages of thermoplastic elastomers, i.e. it has very good elastic properties, is resistant to aging, and can be used in the temperature range of -50 to +95 °C. Moreover, elements of TPE are ecologically friendly and easy to recycle.
Like all microcellular rubber round cords, this round cord also has a closed outer skin and is thus suitable for liquids and gases.
