Reichelt Chemietechnik presents its THOMAFLUID® tubing as a new high-tech product preferably usable in pharmaceutical process technology, chemical engineering, process chemistry and petrochemistry.
The tubing features highest chemical resistance except to chlorinetrifluoride and molten alkali metals. Its liner is seamless, smooth and made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). The jacket, however, is made of EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene rubber).
The manufacturer guarantees an electrical resistance of <106 Ohm between tubing ends and <109 Ohm from lining to cover, through the tubing wall. Thereby the tubing may be used in "EX-Zones" 0 and 1. without any problems.
The operating pressure amounts to 16 bar at +23 °C, permanent temperatures from -30 to +150 °C are standard values.
The liner of the THOMAFLUID® High-Chem PTFE suction and pressure chemical tubing is physiologically absolutely safe and free of extractable components. The jacket, however, is electrically conductive, abrasion-resistant and hardly inflammable.
The tubing meets the German safety regulations TRbF13/2 and DIN 12115, conforming to FDA.
