FPM/FKM round cords are preferably used in the process engineering where bioreactors are used. This is true for the bench-scale as well as in process operation.
Whenever high temperatures and at the same time the highest chemical resistance are required, FPM round cords are the best solution. The temperature range can be indicated with -20°C to +200°C and for a short time even with +220°C, thus this round cord series is particularly suited for highest temperatures. The shore hardness is A 75° +/-5° according to DIN 53505. The outside diameters of the round cords range from 2 mm for laboratory processes up to 25 mm for operating requirements.
