The new Puri-Flex® Pump Tubing (silicone-based) presented by Reichelt Chemietechnik is free of DEHP phthalates and halogen plasticizers and used in the areas of biotechnology, pharmacy, food technology, as well as laboratory technology.
The tubing is distinguished by its flexibility and durability and particularly suitable for high-purity applications and long-term use. The Puri-Flex® Pump Tubing (silicone-based) conforms to RoHS and REACH standards and meets the requirements of FDA 21 §177.2600, USP Class VI, ISO 10993 Part 4 and Part 5, ISO 9001.
The tubing material can be autoclaved at +135 °C and sterilized by ethylene oxide or gamma irradiation. It has low permeability to gases and good chemical resistance. The colour of the remarkably tear- and tension-proof tubing is translucent. The temperature ranges from –50 to +135 °C. Shore A hardness: 68°. A further positive property is the thermal weldability and sealability.
