Product specification
The Microlith filter wool is available in two qualities.
Both types withstand temperatures of +450 °C and +500 °C resp. for longer time periods. Type GW2A is steam-sterilizable without problems.
Both types are resistant to acids, alkalis, organic solvents as well as aerosols.
Variations of air humidity have an imperceptible influence on the weight as glass fibre wool is not hygroscopic and does not stretch or swell.
Insensitive to microorganisms. Usable in medicine, pharmacy and bacteriology. Also suited for use in sterile filter applications when the rare fibre preparations are removed before.
High retention capacity.
