Sealing of standard conical ground joints in laboratory and pilot plant.

Product specification

Conical sleeve with rings at the outer surface made of a half-plastic PTFE-formulation in commonly used standard ground joint sizes for joint grease-free, easy-releasable conical ground joints in gas- and liquid-conducting piping as well as for high-vacuum-tight joints (low leak rate: <1 x 0,0001 mbar x l x s/1). A special grip ring on top of the sleeve allows easy removing and reassembling many times. Sealing rings on the outside of the sleeves and a low friction coefficient prevent sticking of the ground joints. This reduces the danger of breaking and injury. Chemical-resistant, free of leachable components and biocompatible. Temperature-loadable from -200 to +260 °C, sterilizable with all commonly used methods.
