Lower section stores water or ice flakes.
Spill Containment Tray with rack insert, convenient for large volume sample processing, it has a deep tray to hold more ice and water for extended use time.
In addition, the insert can also hold beakers and flasks, and the deep tray is ideal for capturing accidental spills when decanting or pouring liquids from one container to another. The tray allows the tubes to rest on the bottom for maximum stability and exposure to the bath.
Type 1: Holds 120 tubes (1.5ml) or other tubes with a diameter less than 12 mm but is not stackable.
Type 2: Holds 105 tubes (400µl) or other tubes with a diameter of 8 mm and is stackable.
Type 3: Holds 50 tubes (1.5ml) or other tubes with a diameter less than 12 mm, stackable and steam autoclavable at +121°C.
