Brass and stainless steel flow monitors

They can be operated at a maximum temperature of +110°C and an operating pressure of 16 bar based on the material stainless steel. They are available in nominal diameters of 10 mm to 15 mm with a maximum flow rate of between 10 ml/min and 150 ml/min. The flow monitors are equipped with a pendulum plate, which organises and controls the flow of the liquid in the flow space.

In the flow space, the pendulum plate is fastened to a balance beam, the other end of which carries a barium-ferrite magnet. For its part, the magnet actuates a reed contact located in a steel tube positioned outside the flow space. Depending on the setting of the steel tube in the flow switch, the reed contact works as a working current switch or a quiescent current switch.

The flow switches made from stainless steel and brass are absolutely reliable and operationally safe, so that interruptions in operation are almost impossible. They are insensitive to soiled media as well as to scale deposits in the interior of the switches. On the other hand, operational reliability is proven with a small pressure drop. This results in a high degree of maintenance-free flow regulation with this device. The protection class of Reichelt Chemietechnik's flow switches is defined according to IP65.
