Molecular Sieve Sorbent Material 10 Å

Product specification Molecular sieve 10 Å (1.0 nm). Removal of water and carbon... more

Product specification

Molecular sieve 10 Å (1.0 nm).

Removal of water and carbon dioxide out of air, nitrogen, oxygen and other inert gases. During the process a dew point of -75 °C and a carbon dioxide portion of <1 ppm are reached. Simultaneously elimination of hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans (natural gas purification) takes place.

Adsorbs H2O, CO2, H2S, NH3, CO and others

Technical specification

Material: 13 X molecular sieve; sodium aluminosilicate (sodalite basic structure)

Shape: beads, Ø 1.6 to 2.5 mm

Dew point: <-75 °C

Water uptake capacity: 29 % by weight at +20 °C, 20 to 100 % rel. air humidity

General Information Granular Material

Separation of solid or liquid particles out of gases.

Production of pure and purest reference and analysis gases by mechanical separation (filtration) as well as physical and chemical separation (adsorption and catalysis).

Fine gas purification is performed by catalysis and adsorption allowing reduction of contaminants up to few ppb.

General Information Sorbent

Unlimitedly regenerable sorbent material with very high dimensional stability and abrasion resistance for fine purification of gases and fluids.

Exactly classified sorbent with crystal lattice structure.

Molecular sieves ensure complete drying of gases.

Selective adsorption of hydrocarbons.

Very high dimensional stability and abrasion resistance.

Unlimitedly repeatable regeneration without impact on efficiency. Activation at +300 to +350 °C in the dry inert gas flow.

Predrying of the gases with commonly used desiccants is recommended to avoid excessive exhaustion of the molecular sieve. Molecular sieves are finally used for fine drying.

Extremely high adsorptive effect during gas drying even at highest flow speed (5-15 m/min).

Adsorption rate in the fluid phase is smaller by factor 10 compared to the gas phase, therefore flow speed is lower (0.5-1.5 m/min).
