Micro dialysing system for equlibrium dialysis biochemistry, for recovery of the dialysed sample and the dialysate, for THOMAPOR®-dialysing membranes made of celluloseacetate (CA) items 58965 to 58990, or regenerated cellulose (RC), items 15000 to 15017. Completely made of PTFE, absolutely biocompatible and sterilizable; for processing of quantities between 50 and 500 µl.

A bipartite sample compartment is formed by fixing a THOMAPOR®-dialysing membrane between the two parts of the PTFE dialyser. In one of the two parts the sample is filled by use of a microliter syringe and the compartment is closed with the PTFE knurled head screw-in closure. The other compartment is filled with water or buffer solution for dialysing the sample. This compartment is also closed with a PTFE knurled head screw-in closure. Each of the two compartments can be opened temporarily for withdrawing of sample and closed again to continue the dialysis until equilibrium is reached. The exchange of membranes with different cut-offs (MWCO) allows microscale fractionations.
