Check valves as angle seat valves made from PVC-U, PP and PVDF as well as laboratory check valves made from PP, PVDF, PFA, brass and stainless steel

Laboratory check valves

A check valve for working with liquids and gases should have special characteristics. Each valve of this type, which you'll find in our range, has the following features.

  • A valve of this type is made from the material PP as well as PVDF.
  • The laboratory check valves are equipped with hose tails/hose olives on both sides.
  • The max. pressure range for liquids in this valve is 1 bar at +20°C
  • The max. pressure range for gases in this check valve is 3 bar at +20°C
  • Check valves or angle seat check valves are used in chemical engineering, process technology, process engineering as well as in sanitary engineering and mechanical engineering.
  • The valves are offered in different materials and are characterised by their variety in nominal sizes as well as in the variety of their connection combinations.

An overview of the range

The following check valves are available as angle seat valves in our offer:

  • Check valves/angle seat made from PVC-U with adhesive connector
  • Check valves/angle seat made from PVC-U with fittings
  • Check valves/angle seat made from PP with welding sockets
  • Check valves/angle seat made from PP with screw connections
  • Check valves/angle seat made from PVDF with screw connections
  • Check valves/angle seat made from PVDF with welded connections

Laboratory check valves made from PP, PVDF, brass or stainless steel

The following valves are available in our offer especially for work in laboratories or with another sensitive system:

  • Check valves made from PP with tails - Laboratory
  • Check valves made from PP and PVDF with tails for gases and liquids - Mini
  • Check valves made from PP, PVDF or PFA with internal thread
  • Check valves made from PP with internal thread - Industrial
  • Check valves made from brass and stainless steel

Check valves for laboratory use

Check valves or angle seat valves made from plastic are used for the leak-free shut-off of liquid and gaseous media in laboratory technology and chemical engineering. This also applies to every check valve made from different metals which you'll find in our offer. Reichelt Chemietechnik is an experienced supplier of laboratory equipment as well as valves and taps and offers the check valves in an extensive selection, of high quality and at reasonable prices.

Structure and function

Reichelt's check valves can be used in both directions (so a valve can be used horizontally as well as vertically). They are closed in one direction by spring loading, with the flow being released in the opposite direction. The function can be explained by saying that a membrane made from the plastic FKM (fluororubber, Viton®) ensures the sealing inside the valve and thus ensures a hermetic closure. This creates a pressure in the valve in the pressure direction, which overcomes the force of the reset spring. The check valve and the spring are then automatically opened in the respective direction and the flow is released.

The connection technology, which can be used for the horizontal and vertical direction, is presented in the form of hose tails, internal threads or cutting ring fittings. The available nominal sizes are 15, 20, 25, 32, 40 and 50 mm.

Check valves made from plastic and metals – these variants are available

RCT offers angle seat valves for liquids and gases or another medium in the materials PP (polypropylene, Hostalen® PP), PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride, Kynar®, Solef®), PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy) as well as metal in the materials brass and stainless steel. Depending on the nominal size, they come with opening pressures of 0.023 bar, 0.07 bar, 0.35 bar and a pressure of 1.2 bar.

Check valves for laboratory technology can be bought from rct-online.de

You can find angle seat valves made from plastics and metal as well as several other shut-off valves and regulating valves in RCT's range in many different variations – and at reasonable prices and in high quality. A large number of check valves are permanently in stock, so there's a short-term readiness for delivery. Technical information on the materials can be found in the glossary. Of course, our expert flow technology specialists will be happy to answer any questions you may have about your preferred check valve. The entire range of check valves as angle seat check valves as well as laboratory check valves is kept in stock by RCT. By the way: The check valves are compatible with laboratory hosessantoprene hoses and titanium and stainless steel capillaries, which you can order on our website.
